Beekeeping Courses and Dates for Year 2021.

Posted on: February 15th, 2016 by vic

The year 2020 presented some interesting challenges. This did not deter the demand for beekeeping courses which were presented using protocols set out by the health authorities. The calibre of students at all course levels was of a very high standard, with most of the students now busy keeping bees of their own and showing excellent results. The most popular course was the Beginners Beekeeping Course that was made up of five hours of instruction in the laboratory and five hours of hands on practical application in our teaching bee yard. Protective equipment is always supplied for the Field Work. Due to the practical nature of this course, class sizes have to be restricted.

All the courses are presented in Kelowna Vic Macdonald and course members become part of the BBC Backyard Beekeepers Club and can then enjoy special pricing on bees and equipment.
